Shomoita Sayed is a currently a graduate student at the division of Biochemistry, Dept. of Chemistry in Purdue University. Her research focuses on developing targeted RNA therapies for treating retinal diseases, such as AMD (Age related Macular Degeneration). Under the mentorship of her advisor, Late Dr. Philip Low, she worked on pre-clinical development of targeted therapies that can be delivered without invasive eye injections.
