If you are curious as to who is behind this platform, then let me introduce myself. I am Professor Bruce Hood from the University of Bristol, UK. I undertook my Ph.D. in neuroscience at Cambridge University followed by faculty appointments at University College London, MIT and Harvard. My research interests include child development,supernatural thinking, self-identity and ownership. For the past 8 years I have been concentrating on how to make students happier and I truly believe that communication is paramount
AI threatens to undermine higher education and the advancement of human curiousity by removing the necessity to immerse oneself into the depths of research to achieve deeper learning and understanding. In contrast, scholars who can orally communicate their research to a wide audience can only do so by mastery of their thesis. Hence, I am proud to have launched my-thesis.org in March, 2026. Not only am I the founder, but I will be personally validating videos and profiles to guarantee we only showcase real scholars and real research.
