This research investigates honey as a natural environmental monitor. By analysing metal concentrations in honey collected from beekeepers, the study maps pollution patterns, identifies contamination hotspots, and examines global reporting standards. The findings highlight bees’ role as indicators of environmental health and the need for clearer international guidelines.
