This research examines how interactive media platforms have reshaped Dungeons & Dragons. Increased digital engagement boosts player knowledge while encouraging flexible gameplay. Most importantly, online platforms reduce barriers for marginalized players, fostering greater inclusion. The game’s resurgence reflects not just popularity, but a cultural shift toward accessibility and community.
This research examines sexual harassment and cyberbullying in online gaming, highlighting how women and gender-diverse players face disproportionate harm. By analysing real player disclosures and addressing the disconnect between gamer experience and research definitions, the project aims to develop accurate, community-informed prevention programs to better protect players and reduce online harassment.
This research examines how Zambian women engage with a feminist Facebook page to challenge patriarchy online while navigating stigma offline. It reveals strategic identity negotiation, the use of social media for activism, and the difficulties of feminist expression in a conservative society, highlighting how digital spaces enable resistance despite offline constraints.
