My research analyzes historical data from 350 rural counties in the Russian Empire to measure the impact of hiring the first female physicians. Using causal statistical methods, it shows that women doctors dramatically reduced infant mortality and improved overall health, largely by increasing women’s access to care and boosting healthcare quality.

My research develops green membrane technologies to extract and recycle lithium sustainably. By selectively filtering lithium ions from complex mixtures without heavy chemical or energy inputs, these membranes offer an alternative to current waste-intensive methods. The goal is to make the lithium supply chain as clean and sustainable as the renewable future it supports.

My research uses AI and wearable technology to track brain and body signals such as brain waves (EEG), heart rate, and movement. The goal?  Spotting early signs of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's before symptoms show up. Catching these subtle changes could mean helping people sooner, letting them enjoy the everyday moments that matter most
