This research examines whether integrating yoga into university curricula can improve student well-being and academic success. Through a credit-bearing freshman seminar combining yoga practice, meditation, and coursework, the study evaluates changes in holistic well-being and academic performance, aiming to address the growing mental and physical health challenges facing students.

Infertility affects one in six adults and carries profound emotional, psychological, and social burdens often overlooked in medical care. This research evaluates a four-week yoga intervention for individuals undergoing IVF, aiming to reduce anxiety and depression while improving quality of life, addressing the unmet psychosocial needs of those experiencing infertility.

This research examines how architectural spaces shape emotional experience through their acoustic environments. Using binaural audio, 360° video, VR, biosensors, and self-reports, the study shows that spaces amplifying low frequencies enhance positive emotions. The goal is to develop architectural guidelines that create restorative, well-being-enhancing environments in schools, hospitals, offices, and public spaces.

This research develops an immersive, memory-based VR experience for ICU patients to reduce anxiety, build emotional resilience, and support recovery. Co-designed with clinicians and game developers, the system offers non-drug psychological support in an environment where 77% of patients experience anxiety. The goal is to improve comfort, control, and clinical outcomes.
