This study explores how mindfulness can support student-athlete well-being in high-pressure sporting environments. Through interviews, course analysis, and coaching reflections, the research found that mindfulness strengthens personal agency, emotional regulation, and holistic self-identity. The findings informed the development of a mindfulness-based curriculum for athletes and coaches.

This research examines how architectural spaces shape emotional experience through their acoustic environments. Using binaural audio, 360° video, VR, biosensors, and self-reports, the study shows that spaces amplifying low frequencies enhance positive emotions. The goal is to develop architectural guidelines that create restorative, well-being-enhancing environments in schools, hospitals, offices, and public spaces.

Adolescent depression is common, severe, and highly recurrent, with risk increasing after each episode. This research studies why some young people relapse while others recover, examining biological stress responses, coping styles, social relationships, and lived experience. The goal is to develop interventions that strengthen long-term resilience and improve mental-health outcomes.
